The not-for-profit health insurer selected local tourist locations and well-known landmarks as the backdrop for the new advertising campaign, introducing their new tagline ‘Where Value Meets Values’.
Community members formed part of the cast, with filming taking place over three days across the Mid-Western region last month.
Westfund marketing manager Luke Walding said it was a deliberate strategy for a local region to be part of the new campaign.
“We’re thrilled with the authenticity that comes across in the adverts. To be able to draw on local backdrops links back to our strong and continuing ties to regional areas.”
“By using sites around Mudgee and Kandos, we’re paying tribute to the region itself and homage to our roots as a regional organisation.”
Westfund started in Lithgow in the 1950s and has since grown across regional markets in NSW and Queensland.
“It is vital that we showcase the remarkable nature of our regional locations as it brings an authentic flavour to our advertisements,” he said.
The campaign will showcase the region to a national audience through the television campaign and across Westfund’s digital platforms.
