Crews from Rural Fire Service and Forestry Corporation are on site again this morning Friday, February 16 supported by two water bombing aircraft.
Crews and aircraft will be focusing on 'pinching' the advancing head of the fire today to slow the progression.
Cooler conditions are forecast for Saturday, February 17 which will assist with controlling the fire.
Wolgan Valley Road is still closed off to the public and is only making exceptions for local traffic.

“The road is narrow and we need to keep it clear for fire crews and their trucks,” Chifley/Lithgow RFS Inspector Mick Holland said.
A total fire ban is currently in place for the Central ranges.
Residents and visitors to the area are reminded to remain aware of the fire status via Fires Near Me and to review their Bush Fire Survival Plan.
