Child airlifted after crash at Bell on Sunday, February 11

An 11-year-old child was flown to Westmead Hospital in a CareFlight 3 helicopter with head, limb and pelvic injuries after a crash at Bell on Bells Line of Road on Sunday, February 11.  

Paramedics from Lithgow arrived on the scene at 8.30am on Sunday morning to find the car containing six passengers, two adults and four children, in a rolled car. 

The child who was airlifted is in a serious but stable condition. 

A 33-year-old woman was taken to Nepean hospital in a road ambulance for treatment to head and shoulder injuries.

She is also in a serious but stable condition.  

The 31-year-old man and three remaining children were taken to Lithgow hospital in a road ambulance for treatment for minor injuries.
