After raising $11,000 for the Lithgow Highland Band in 2017, the National Parks and Wildlife Service and the Hartley Advisory Committee are looking for a local charity or not-for-profit organisation to be the beneficiaries of this year’s Back to Hartley event.

Now in its eighth year Back to Hartley will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018.

Back to Hartley promotes the history of the historic village, the works undertaken by the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, the Lithgow Local Government Area and raises funds for local not-for-profit organisations and charities.

The National Parks and the Hartley Advisory Committee are seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from local not-for-profit organisations and charities who would like to be considered for the 2018 event. All proceeds from the raffle and the gate are donated to the nominated organisation.

The successful organisation needs to have the capacity to sell tickets for the raffle which generates the largest portion of the donation and to provide some assistance with setting up the event and working at it on the day.
