In 2017 Becker won two of the coveted ‘Number 1 pink plates’ on offer to the winners of each class of competition.
She is a member of the Combined Districts Kart Club, the hosts of the event, and is certain to take full advantage of her experience and home track knowledge in defence of her victories.
The event is unique to the sport of kart racing as it is Australia’s only all female competition.
“The event has grown in popularity,” said Karting NSW Director of Competition, Ross Allen.
“It is the first major event of the KNSW competition calendar providing an excellent start to the KNSW race calendar each year.”
The Combined Districts Kart Club is once again using the event to support Breast Cancer and over the past years the Club has raised in excess of $200 000 for the charity.
Ladies - young and old - from all parts of NSW as well as from Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia have entered for this year’s event including two prominent lady car racing drivers.
A charity auction to be held in the venue clubhouse on Saturday evening.
The club will wind up a huge weekend of racing on Sunday, January 21.
