The Lithgow Men’s Basketball grand final was held recently. Cavaliers rose to take the title with a close victory over Celtics 65-55.

It was a game that saw the lead change a number of times but the experience of Kurt Northey and Michael Cox proved the difference in the final result.
From the Celtics Hayden Cox, Fletcher Swift and Steve Smith and their teammates tried hard.
However they just could not match the experience and teamwork of their opposition.
The young guns in the competition are starting to find their way in the senior competition.
They will certainly trouble the experienced players in the near future.
The Basketball Association would like to wish all the players, official’s and supporters all the best for Christmas and a happy new year.
The association is also looking forward to their continued support in 2018.
