It was a night of festivities and Christmas fun as Lithgow Public School hosted its fete and carols on Tuesday, December 5.

The evening, which began at 4pm and continued until 7pm, was a fundraising event organised by the P&C.
After the games, face-painting and stalls, the Christmas concert was held. Each stage performed a song and the school band played traditional carols.

The fun had to take place under shelter as the heavens opened during the night, with a sudden downpour causing a large amount of run-off down the streets.
Dry inside the hall, the night was capped off by a visit from the big man himself, Santa, who handed out goodies to the kids.
