Elly Gunn was the winner of the beautiful hand-made quilt donated by the talented Rene Cambourn. Joh Zyp will be having a weekend away after winning the overnight stay at North Sydney Harbourview Hotel. Thank you to everyone who supported the fundraising effort.
Aiming to raise $30,000, organisers of the Cancer Council NSW event were blown away by the total, which had reached $41,900 on the night. It was a combination of fundraising by the Stars in the lead-up to the event and donations on the night.
The Lithgow Mercury was able to surpass the fundraising goal of $2000 for each star, finishing with more than $2500. So thank you, everyone, for your support.
