They first visited the property of gardeners Pam and John Joyce in Winmalee. Their house was one of the 194 homes destroyed by the bushfire that hit the area in 2013.
“The Joyce's rebuilt and the gardens are a picture,” Robyn da Costa, a club member said.
The next stop was the Glenbrook Village Nursery and the Native Plant Nursery in the lower Blue Mountain and later Wentworth Falls’ conservation hut in the Blue Mountains National Park.
“The views into the valley were beautiful. We are so fortunate to have this in our own backyard,” Ms da Costa said.
