In another first round game Craig and Kerry Brown took on Bev Milton and Pommie Williams. Milton and Williams got away first but it was the Browns who took the first set 9-4. The second set stated the same way with Williams scoring first but with one end to go Brown lead 6-4.
A 4 on the last end saw Williams level the sets and so a tie breaker was needed with the Browns winning the game. The first round play or forfeit applies this Saturday with the second round on Sunday.
