Angie Cambourn claimed first prize in the Lithgow Workies fashion competition, in what judge and Lithgow councillor Maree Statham described as extremely competitive.
Ms Cambourn wore a blush lace dress and baby pink shoes, with a blush handbag and fascinator.
“It was quite nerving because there were some very nice dressed women,” she said.

Ms Cambourn searched through four different stores to find her dress.
Eventually, the one she wore needed to be picked up from Tuggerah on the Central Coast.
Cr Statham said the fashion competition was tough.
“The women have really dressed up for the spring carnival,” Ms Statham said.
“Women who have handbags and head dresses always get extra marks.
“Hosiery always get good marks as well. It is a classic way to finish a beautiful outfit.”
