Stage One of the project includes a host of upgrades to Cook Street Plaza and the intersection of Main Street and Eskbank Street.
Contractors CA&I Pty Ltd have outlined an expected completion date of April 2018, weather permitting.
The work will take place from 8am-6pm Monday to Friday and 8am-1pm on Saturdays.
What will occur on Cook Street Plaza?
- Remove existing brick pavers
- New concrete footpath
- New blue stone pavers
- New raised pedestrian threshold
- New drainage
- New landscaping
What will occur on the intersection of Main Street and Eskbank Street?
- Remove centre medians
- Footpath widening
- New footpath paving
- Raised concrete intersection
- New kerb and gutter
- New drainage
Pedestrian access to properties and businesses will be maintained during the project.
CA&I staff will advise of any disruptions as the project progresses.
