Police believe a grass fire on the side of Wolgan Road, Lidsdale was deliberately lit by an unknown man at around 8pm on Monday night.

The man was described as having a shaved head and a goatee. He was wearing a black shirt and blue pants.
Fire services extinguished the blaze and there was no significant damage to property.

Pills at Lithgow Jail
An inmate at Lithgow Correctional Centre was found to be in possession of a large quantity of pills, believed to be steroids, at 1.30pm on Tuesday.
Police have sent the pills to be analysed before taking further action against the 30-year-old man.
