The annual Legacy Day fundraiser is November 15 with names in by the 8th. This is a single entry mufti event with plenty of prizes and a whole lot of fun for a very worthy cause. Entries for the Hard Rock Memorial mixed pairs close November 11. This year’s event will be played under a different format as we trial the use of sets.
The Wallerawang triples are up to the final stage with Steve Jackson to take on Peter Piggott. The Thursday night Turnabout Triples began this week and despite the wet weather we got our games in. Winners were Crocs Rangers.
Builders Tiggers and for the first time since forming the No Expectations lead the competition after they got the job done against last year's finalists the Dragons.
Don’t forget the Sportsmen’s Dinner on Saturday November 25. Guest speakers are Australian lawn bowls rep and current Australian bowls coach Steve Glasson. He will be backed up by former Tiger Steve “Blocker” Roach. This will be a great night as both speakers have been known to tell a tale or two. Ring the club on 6355 1434 to get your tickets.
