“We’re trying to raise money for Me3 to buy new equipment and assist children, as well as the Nanna’s Touch sewing group and cooking classes,” she said.
Ms Connolly runs a weekly cooking class for residents of Lithgow with an Autism Spectrum Disorder.
“We’d like to increase the number of different activities at a later stage, they are about abilities not disability,” she said.
Ms Connolly said Me3, which supports young people with disabilities, has helped her son, who is on the autism spectrum, “tremendously”.
“Tomorrow he is going on his first outing with Me3 to go rock climbing, it’s really taking him out of his comfort zone.”
You can buy raffle tickets to go into the draw for the jersey on selected days at Woolworths.
Nannas Touch will be selling tickets outside Woolworths on:
- Monday, October 23
- Monday, October 30
- Friday, November 3

- Friday, December 1
- Monday, December 4
