The run of holes in one continued at the Lithgow Golf Club continued when Dave Thompson holed out on the second during Saturday's single Stableford event.

He is no stranger to aces having scored three previously.
Thompson's hole in one sees the fourth perfect shot in a month with Jeff Geddes, Brett Scanlon and Greg Guest also securing the elusive honour.
Previously to this run there were none recorded for a year or so.
The Stableford event, sponsored by Treeview Estate, attracted a good field considering the cold damp conditions with some very good scores returned.
The best in A grade was Max Nightingale on 38 points with the runner up being Anthony Boza on 37 on a countback. The best scratch score in the top grade was Darren Hunter with 73 ocb.
B grade's best was Don Wolfenden who scored an impressive 43 points and also took out best scratch with 77.
The runner up was Laurie Northey on 41 points.
The best Stableford score of the day came out of C grade with the winner being Bruce Tilley, a visitor from Mudgee. He will leave Lithgow with pleasant memories after carding 45 points and recording the best scratch score with an 84.
Brian Giblett who has been in great form in recent weeks finished runner up with a score of 44 points, a score that would usually win on any other week.
Nearest the pins went to Dave Thompson, John Chadwick, Tony Oldfield, Anthony Boza and Max Nightingale.
Friday comp
Winner: Ted Doggett 27 points.
Runner-up: John Chadwick 26 points.
Balls cut out on 25 points ocb.
