Students across the Lithgow district are in the final stages of preparation for the Higher School Certificate (HSC) exams, which begin on Monday.
Every student will be sitting the first exam, in either English standard or advanced.
The second English exam will follow on Tuesday, October 17.
Preparations have been under way through the region, with schools opening special study areas for their students to make the most of their last few weeks.
Free HSC study sessions have also been on offer at venues around Lithgow to offer a study space or advice and assistance.
Now it is crunch time.
The three Lithgow district high schools with students completing the HSC in 2017, Portland Central School, La Salle Academy and Lithgow High School, all wished their students the very best in their exams.
