The Lithgow Workies Wolves celebrated a massive year at a formal dinner held at the Lithgow Workmen’s club on Friday, September 29.

Dressed in orange, black and purple, team members of the women’s league tag team celebrated their entry into the semi-finals, the reserves their premiership win and premier league players, their impressive comeback to finish in fifth place in the competition.
“We’ll be striving to build on this year’s success and look forward to the 2018 season,” Club president Corey Osborne said.
Lithgow Workies Wolves player of the year was awarded to Riley Allan, who also won Best and Fairest in the First Division team. Corey Willmott and Tiffanny Willmott were named Best and Fairest in the Workies Premier League and Oz Tag teams respectively.
Players Player awards were given to Hannah Healey, Darcey Allan and Ben Picman.
