A man and a boy were both transported to Westmead Hospital on Sunday, September 24, after their quad bike overturned in the Newnes State Forest near Glow Worm Tunnel Road after midday.

The man, who was approximately 40 years old, sustained head and leg injuries and was airlifted by helicopter to hospital in a stable condition shortly after 2pm.
NSW Ambulances said they treated a 14-year-old boy with cuts to his legs. He was taken to Westmead Children’s Hospital by road.
