Early in the second half Workies Gold converted a penalty corner. Zig Zag worked even harder to score an equalising goal in the last 30 seconds, which saw the game go into extra time.

- Secondary: Workies White v Jays Turf 1 at 9am, September 16
- Primary: Workies Gold v Jays Turf 1 at 10:30am, September 16
Blake Livingstone, for Workies Gold, fought hard against Zig Zag's defense to score the winning goal and take Workies Gold into the grand final on Saturday, September 16.
In the secondary competition Workies White took on Workies Gold in the semi-final. This was an exciting game of hockey to watch as both teams displayed great hockey. Workies White put in a super team effort to go through to next Saturday’s grand final against Jays with a 4-1 result.
All players showed great passing and tackling skills and played all-round great hockey. Kelsie Whyte, Ruby Thompson and Brooke Lewis all scored for White.
Workies Gold also played a great game and Workies White achieved a well earned result.
