The kerbside collection will allow householders to get rid of items that are too large to fit inside the weekly bins.
Residents who would like to discard any bulky items during the collection should contact council by midday on Friday, September 8 on 6354 9999.
Alternatively you may register on the council website council.lithgow.com by the same deadline.
Bulky waste items should then be placed adjacent to where you would normally place your garbage bin for pickup on the night before Monday, September 11.
Items will be collected providing they can be picked up by two men and any cases, boxes, cartons etc should be securely tied.
No liquid or chemical items will be collected, nor will any items requiring the use of a shovel.
