The high school continues to strengthen their bond with the Asian nation with the last group of Japanese students visiting in March.
This time around a total of 20 students, two teachers and one principal have made the trip from Toke High School near Tokyo.
The international visitors participated in a variety of traditional Aboriginal activities on Thursday including a smoking ceremony and rock painting.
Students also had a chance to learn more about the uses of boomerangs and didgeridoos.
The group will also get up close and personal with a few native Australian animals during a trip to Featherdale Wildlife Park next week.
This is the first time La Salle has hosted a group from Toke High School however they are certainly keen to receive more students from Toke in the future.
Seven La Salle students will also return the favour when they visit Japan in September.
They will be joined by 14 students from St Raphael’s in Cowra on a 12 day tour around Kyoto, Osaka, Nara and a two day homestay in Hiroshima with Japanese host families.
