Minkies
It was smiles all round this week with the under sevens and under nines minkies sharing the field with their eager parents and carers. The players were very excited to show how well they have progressed over the season. The adults enjoyed showing off their skills as well.
Both under sevens and under nines minkies participated in skill drills and then a game. The under nines were very keen to take on the adults and formed their own team. They took out the adults 4-0, which they were pleased with to say the least.
“It was a fantastic show of support by all who participated on and off field. Star players of the week were parents, carers and supporters, we couldn't do it without you!” Sharon Byrne said.

Zoey Bulkeley, Tayla Deveigne and Brooke Lewis performed consistently with all the girls scoring goals. Kessia George and Corinna Piggott also had a solid game and produced some great tackles. James Luck was brilliant in defending goals and made many saves for Workies Blue.
In the end Workies White came out on top on 4-1.
