Police have released CCTV images captured during a break-in at the BP Tweed Service Station on the Great Western Highway at Lithgow on Tuesday, August 15.

At about 1.30am, unknown persons entered the BP Tweed Service Station on the Great Western Highway at Lithgow and once inside cash and cigarettes were stolen.
It is understood that access into the business was gained via the roof.

Common assault
A 19-year-old Lithgow man was arrested around 3.30pm on Monday afternoon as a result his inappropriate behaviour at Lithgow Valley Plaza.
He had previously been banned from the shopping centre and was approached by a security officer for trespassing.
They were involved in a minor confrontation during which the man verbally abused and pushed the security officer.
The man was found by police in Queen Elizabeth Park a short time later.
He was arrested and will appear before Lithgow Local Court for charges of trespassing, common assault and offensive language.
