The business relocated to Main Street in April after being situated in Lithgow Valley Plaza for around eight years.
Lithgow Telstra store licensee Troy McNaughton said he was seeking to take advantage of an air of positivity in the new location with plans to revitalise the Main Street.
“This end of town, there’s a better vibe now,” he said.
Store manager Lisa Stieger said the move has also been positive for the business.
“Foot traffic has increased dramatically, probably about double the amount of foot traffic that we were getting at the shopping centre,” she said.
Customers had the chance to have a look at the latest tech offerings such as VR and Google Home at the launch.
The Telstra shop is currently designed as a popup store but will be converted to a more permanent layout in the next 18 months.
