Minkies
Minkies under 7s and under 9s had a great time this week, and the wind was no deterrent.
All players are having a great time with their groups, and we thank the volunteers who make it happen each Saturday.
This week’s Star Players were Ruby Moss, Maleah Morrow and Azalia Dunn in the under 7s and Maci Coombs and Addisen Welch for the under 9s.
The Star Players all showed great enthusiasm and skill.
Parents and carers, don't forget your sticks this Saturday, August 12 as our U7s and U9s can not wait to show off their skills in the field with you.

The entire Workies Blue team has improved a huge amount over this season but Workies Gold were victorious.
Mia Healey made some great interceptions for Workies Gold, with Lucas Commins backing her up with a great offensive game.
Tyler McManus and Kade Anderson scored a goal each for Gold.
For Workies Blue Claire Jonkers, Maggie Thompson and Flynn Luck showed some great skills while Taylah Hockley made some great saves in goals.
It was a game that despite the freezing and windy conditions was a pleasure to watch. Blue would like to thank Gold for lending their players to make the game fun and enjoyable for all.
Jays 4 defeated Zig Zag 0
Both sides playing hard throughout the game ensuring there was plenty of action on Turf 2.
Zig Zag were strong in defence and Jays showed great passing and attack.
With all four primary teams growing in their skills, teamwork and sportsmanship the hockey continues to be fabulous to watch.

Both Jays and Workies White did extremely well given the cold and windy conditions.
Workies White improved as a team in the second half and were unlucky not to score with several attempts.
