Though Souths started the year with a handy roster and full of hope, as the season has unfolded the Bathurst side has not found the sort of success it had been hoping for.
Player unavailabilities have had an impact and though proving competitive at times against sides which will take part in the finals, Souths finds itself with just two wins.
However, one of those did come against this Saturday’s rivals Zig Zag and Souths captain Ali Stanford is hoping her side can find a repeat dose.
Zig Zag has endured even more tough weekends than Souths and is yet to win a game.
“Down there it’s always very hard, but I think being our last game that the girls are going to go out with a bang,” she said.
Souths will take on Zig Zag from 2.40pm in Lithgow.
