Minkies
Both the under 7s and under 9s had a great turn out on the weekend.
A variety of skills were demonstrated and a few action filled games were played.
The under 9s have been cementing their understanding of the game and positions.
The players have started to play in their nominated positions and they are showing off their skills in defence, attack and passing.
Star players of the week for the under 7s were Ruby Livingstone and Keeley Mclean.
For the under 9s Couper Anthes, Maddison Hart and Connor Byrne stood out.

There was little to separate the two sides in what was an evenly contested game.
Zig Zag worked tirelessly throughout the entire game, but unfortunately were unable to convert their efforts into a goal.
Workies Gold worked hard and came away with the victory.
The goal scorer was Kade Anderson who was well supported by Blake Livingstone and Workies Gold newcomer Katie Anthes.
Special mentions go to Zig Zag's Luke Doran, Makenzie Lane and Lucas Chandler who all showed strong ball skills and perseverance.
Jays 3 defeated Workies Blue 0
A great game to watch as the scores were locked at nil-all at halftime. Both sides worked hard to try and finish on top.
Workies Blue were strong in attack and demonstrated great team work with Maggie Thompson, Flynn Luck and Paige Woolsey keeping the pressure on Jays.
Alex Flynn was strong in defence for Jays along with goalie Molly Robinson.
