A mock wedding was presented to the residents of Tabulam Cottages on Wednesday, June 21.
Several residents and staff members from Cooinda were also in attendance.
The bride was played by Danny Whitty who looked stunning in the full bridal regalia and his trusty work boots.
Errol Millis was a knockout in his beautiful bridesmaid dress and perfect hairdo while flower girl Michael “Cuppa” Teong was very pretty in pink.
The rest of the cast included members of the Portland Red Cross who all performed well and looked superb.
The bridegroom was played by Lee Stevens, best man was Lynn Denley and the pageboy was Elaine Toyer.
The father of the bride was Robyn Mason, who could not wait to give the bride away.
The ministerial duties were carried out by Allison Whitty. Agnes Tilley played the role of the objector who thought she was already married to Archie, the groom.
After the ceremony a beautifully decorated cake was cut and everyone toasted the happy couple.
Thank you to nurse Michael for the cake.
A great time was had by all and Tabulam are to be congratulated for providing a perfectly decorated venue for the occasion.
