Organisers Todd Nyitrai and Andrew Miller have arranged the event with the simple goal of bringing people and their vehicles together.
“Anyone that loves cars, bikes, trucks is more than welcome to come,” Mr Nyitrai said.
“There’s a lot of enthusiasts out there and it’s just to get them out in one location to show their pride and joy.”
Mr Miller mentioned the meetup was a chance for car lovers in the local area to get together without heading too far out of Lithgow.
“A lot of people were travelling to Bathurst, Penrith and everywhere. We’ve just seen an opportunity with the cafe opening up again that we could just have an informal get together on the second Sunday every month,” he said.
Mr Nyitrai surrounds himself with cars during the week as the general manager of D&J Ford and was hoping to see the weekend Wallerawang meetup take off.
“We’re hoping for this event to grow and grow and hopefully we can have the whole of Main Street parked in classic cars over a period of time,” he said.
“It’s just a get together to boost small towns like Wang... hopefully people will stay for lunch at the two pubs. There’s plenty of cafes and that here and there’s plenty to look at.”
The meetup may also include a drive to Portland if attendees are so inclined.
Wang Cars and Coffee will begin at 10am at Station Expresso Cafe on Main Street, Wallerawang.
