Lithgow’s young sportsmen have again proved they are a force to be reckoned with.
Cooerwull Public School students Tallan Egan, Ethan Achurch and Ryan Wells will represent the Western region sides in their respective sports of softball and cross country.
Tallan and Ethan impressed the selectors as they helped the Cooerwull softball team reach the Western final of the PSSA Knockout.
The duo are incredibly versatile, both boasting strong arms and good skills with the bat.
Tallan has previously represented the region in softball and rugby league however this will be Ethan’s first shot at pulling on the Western colours.
The pair will play at the State Championships in Camden in October.
Ryan showed his class in cross country as he ran first in the Cooerwull and district cross country races.
A third place finish in the recent regional cross country in Guerie sealed his position in the Western team.
Ryan has previously competed for Western in athletics. He will head to state cross country in Eastern Creek on July 21.
