Open Day gave members of the public the chance to gain one-on-one course advice as well as meet teachers and past graduates from Lithgow TAFE to discuss training opportunities.
Animal Studies teacher Bronwyn Bellamy Said Open Day was a great opportunity for TAFE to show the public all the organisation has to offer.
Ms Bellamy said she has often seen prospective students sign on to study at Lithgow TAFE after exploring their options at Open Day.
“I think I picked up about four or five students from the last Open Day in January so it’s really good,” she said.
Highlights of the day included campus tours, displays, presentations and a barbecue lunch supplied by the Volunteer Rescue Association.
