Under 12s
After a draw on their last encounter the young Henry Plant Hire Under 12s were unsure what to expect when they took on Panthers in Bathurst.
They found their feet early in game scoring with a well-placed kick. This was the first of three tries scored by Roman Peters including length of the field run early in the first half.
It was an outstanding game Roman who once again had an outstanding defensive game too.
Eli Morris again showed his strength in the centre with strong runs, impressive defence and scoring a try to top off a great game.
Braith Green was able to dart from Dummy Half when it mattered to end with five tries scored.
Each try was converted with Tom Collins, Byron Lamborn, Daniel Kable and Tallan Egan all being successful.
This was a great team effort with the forwards of Bryson Jones, Cian O’Regan and Fran Difranco running the ball hard. Bailey Brown was outstanding at full back, with Ethan Barrett and Tully Howell having great directional play.
Kayden Whitney had an all-round solid game, with Connor Tucker and Brayden Spittle’s contributing to the games success.
Eli Morris is this week playing for Polding at the State Carnival.
Storm JRL including players and supporters wish Eli all the best. A great achievement for a talented player.
This week Storm looks forward to the Carpet One Cup. With the local derby in the 11s with Storm coming up against Wang.

The highlight of the game was in the last few minutes when Storm kicked off and Cody Green caught a bouncing ball and ran on to score Lithgow’s only try, which was successfully converted by Kade Inwood.
Ashton Hunter had some good runs with Lachlan Thompson improving each week.
Blake Goldspink and Billy Rushworth were tackling machines all game however Panthers won 62-6.
A big thanks goes out to Bailey Brown, Bryson Jones, Daniel Kable and Connor Tucker who all stepped up to help out on the day.
