The inaugural Carpet One Cup was contested in 2013 and is in its fourth edition after skipping one year.
Two more local businesses came on board in 2016 to create the Graeme Bell Building Shield and Professionals Lithgow Trophy.
The mid-season cup day was the brain child of Carpet One Lithgow owner Dean Barrie who said the day was “a chance for local businesses to give a little bit back”.
“Not every kid gets to play in a grand final… but this is sort of like a mid-season grand final between Lithgow Storm and the opposing team,” he said.
Mr Barrie said the young players have performed with extra enthusiasm on cup day in previous years and encouraged community members to come down to “support their local club”.
All players involved will be awarded with participation medals and half price vouchers up to a cost of $50 from SportsPower Lithgow.
The man of the match from each game will receive a $20 voucher from Black Rock Cafe.
A raffle will also be held on the day with all proceeds going to Lithgow Storm JRLFC.
First prize is a signed and and framed Cooper Cronk boot donated by Carpet One Lithgow. Second prize is an NRL jersey of the winner’s choice from SportsPower Lithgow and third prize is a meat tray from My Butcher On Main.
Raffle tickets can be purchased at Carpet One before Saturday or from the canteen on game day.
Games will kick off at 9am at Tony Luchetti with the raffle being drawn around 10.30am.
