A host of Lithgow runners took part in the annual Glow Worm Tunnel trail running weekend on Saturday, June 17 and Sunday, June 18.
In Saturday’s races 10-year-old Gabrielle Dray claimed first place in the under 12s category of the 6km Ted English Bolt.
Her younger sister Georgie, age four, ran in the Ted English Bolt for the first time coming 99th overall and 13th in the under 12s.
Julie Livingston took on Saturday’s half marathon and finished 14th in the 40-49 age category in a time of 2:44:18.
Former Lithgow resident Steph Le Fevre was the second the female across the line in the same race in 1:59:41.
In Sunday’s half marathon Alex Visser finished third overall in a time of 1:42:40.
Katherine Costello grabbed first place in the 50-59 age category and was the seventh female to finish in 2:17:08.
Christy Young also had a great race in her first ever competitive trail run with a time of 2:54:37.
Justin McMurtrie braved the full 42km marathon and finished in 4:24:03.
