A full round of hockey was played between Lithgow’s junior teams on Saturday June 3.

In the secondary division Jays and Workies both fought hard for a 1-all draw.

Special mention to Callum Flynn in goals, Grace Thompson and Breanna Rodham. In the Zig Zag game against Workies White Brooke Lewis showed outstanding sportsmanship switching teams to play alongside Zig Zag.

In the primary division, Jays played Zig Zag with Bree Muldoon, Riley Hart, and Ebbaney-Rose Page demonstrating great attack and defending skills.

Workies Gold and Workies Blue played a well contested game with Gold coming out on top 3-1.

It was refreshing to see the teams encouraging their new players to get involved.

Minkey players continue to show great improvement learning basic skills during the training sessions. The week’s star players were Ruby Moss, Keeley McLean, Harry Kelly, Max Evans, Grace McAndrew, Taylor Pillage, Vann Cutler and Amy Kennedy.
