A pregnant woman was airlifted to Liverpool hospital on Thursday, May 25 after a three-car crash at Wallerawang.

The woman was a passenger in one of three cars involved in the crash, which occurred at the intersection of Forest Ridge Drive, Barton Avenue and Rocky Waterhole Drive at about 6.30pm.
Lithgow police reported the crash appeared to have happened when one vehicle did not give way at the sign and hit a car that had right of way.
Another car, sitting at the give way sign on the other side of the road, was then hit.
One car ended up pushed on top of the other car and the driver and passengers were trapped.
Rescue personnel attended and the occupants were freed without visible injury.
Three people were taken to hospital for observation.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
