Aside from Ironfest and numerous games and training sessions, the field is also suffering from a Black Beetle infestation.
Council will look to restore the surface back to health with spraying, fertilising and top-dressing.
In the meantime teams including the Workies Wolves and Lithgow Bears will use field number two oval.
