It was an early start for the cadets, as they marched at the Portland Dawn Service. They also featured at the Wallerawang, Lithgow and Rydal services.
Federal Member for Calare Andrew Gee said he was impressed that the cadets, aged between 12 and 18, attended and supported four ANZAC ceremonies in their community.
The unit was also honoured to act as the official catafalque party at the Lithgow service, which is normally performed by reservist or active serviceman.
The Australian Army states a catafalque party is mounted around memorials on occasions of remembrance such as Anzac Day.
The catafalque party is made up of four members, who act as an armed guard. They stand with their heads bowed and their weapon reversed. They face outward about one metre from the catafalque as a form of respect for those who have fallen.
