"I think we should stick it to them. We've got a pretty good forward pack so hopefully we can get on top of them in the middle and go form there," Workies captain-coach Chris Rhodes said.

"It'll be quite and arm wrestle I'm hoping but there's no reason why we can't go down there and take the two points from them."

The Wolves are refreshed after having the bye last round but look to be without winger Nick Young for the rest of the season.

Young fractured his foot in three places and broke his ankle early in the round one match against the Bathurst Panthers.

Rhodes said Young had been playing and training well and wished Young all the best and a speedy recovery. Ben Glasson will take Young’s place in the side.

The Workies captain said his team will need to be strong in defense on the edges and wary of the threat posed by Oberon’s halves Luke Branighan and Anton Wereta.

"They got some good hard running centres, two experienced halves who can throw the ball a mile so that's definitely where they look to play from what I've seen.”

Rhodes said the Wolves ticket to success was playing well as a unit.

"I think if we all just play good football that's the key, that's what we need to do. We need to get everyone playing good football not just one or two."

The premier league side will take the field at 2.30pm with first division kicking off at 12:30 and League Tag at 10am. All matches will be played at Oberon Sports Ground.
