Officers of the NSW Sex Crime Squad arrested the man in Lithgow on Wednesday, March 29. He has been charged with 16 offences.
Lithgow Police Sergeant Darryl Goodwin said the man has been charged for multiple alleged child sex offences that occurred in the mid 2000s over a number of years.
The man was in custody and appeared in Lithgow Local Court on Thursday, March 30.
The case was adjourned to May 25. He was granted conditional bail.
