The reserve at Hassan’s Walls is an important site for maintaining biodiversity with the region. The planting will take place at the foot of the reserve near the corner of Cregans Lane and Wrights Road.
Lithgow City Council has been at work in the area removing weeds but now is calling for volunteers to help plant 300 tube stock of native species.
The day will start at 10am and include a sausage sizzle at the end.
To register, call council’s Landcare coordinator Rechelle Fisher on (02) 6354 9999 or email council@lithgow.nsw.gov.au.
