“I really couldn’t put a figure on it,” he said. “There are a lot of people who volunteer their time. Without the community it really wouldn’t happen. It’s an old cliche but it’s true.”
Mr Wiggans said the highlight of the show was the monster trucks, performing on Friday and Saturday nights followed by fireworks.
The stunt truck Syco Sam, will be making an appearance with Lithgow Show newcomer Spot the Dog.
Spot the Dog’s owner, Troy Garcia, said it was a good chance to see an American imported truck in action.
“Kids love monster trucks and Spot the Dog is probably the most loved truck in Australia,” Mr Garcia said.
“He is a 3D character with floppy ears and his tail wags while he is in the air.”
Spot the Dog will be performing at 7pm on Friday, March 17 and at 8pm on Saturday night.
