Former Australian players Bryan Fletcher and Nathan Hindmarsh, better known as the Fletch and Hindy duo from the Monday Night with Matty Johns show, will be at the Lithgow Workies Club on Friday night to help raise funds for football clubs in the area.
The evening is sold out, with the pair expected to keep the bumper crowd of 240 people in stitches with a comedy act and stories of their time at the top of the NRL.
Workies’ Blake Bender was thrilled the duo were on their way to back local league groups, with sporting clubs from around the community to flock to the event, expected to start at 8pm on Friday.
“I think everyone can expect something similar to what they do each week with Matty Johns,” Bender said.
“It’s going to be a fundraiser, they’ve got a bit of an introductory DVD to watch and then they get into their show. It’ll be a great night and it’s great their supporting clubs.”
