A MAN found dead in a car near Oberon is believed to a 35-year-old reported missing earlier this week.

Police and emergency services responded to reports that an unresponsive man had been found in a vehicle on Duckmaloi Road about 15km from Oberon around 7.45pm on Tuesday.
On arrival, NSW Ambulance paramedics confirmed the man had died.
Police from Chifley local area command attended the scene and established a crime scene which was examined by specialist forensic officers.
Local detectives, with the assistance of the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad, are investigating the circumstances surrounding the man's death.
A post mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of the man’s death.
