In taekwondo, students must successfully test for and complete 10 gradings before then testing for Black Belt and beyond.
Jesse Willoughby successfully graded to 3rd Dan Black Belt.
Melissa Bayer successfully graded to 2nd Dan Black Belt.
Jordan Sharp, Caiban Lucas (1st Dan) and Liam King (1st Poom) successfully graded to the first major taekwondo milestone of Black Belt.
Other promotions are as follows:
Red Belt 3 tip; Kaden Lucas.
Red Belt 2 tip; Jordan Bray.
Red Belt 1 tip; Lisa Woodward.
Yellow Belt 3 tip; Joseph Chilly-Duroux and Joshua Chew.
Yellow Belt 2 tip; Delaney Reinhardt-Brown.
Master Instructor, Steve Ashbridge, said he was extremely pleased with all the efforts put in by the Mu Yeh TKD students as they had shown great determination to reach their respective levels.
He also congratulated Jesse for achieving 3rd Dan, Melissa for achieving 2nd Dan, and Jordan, Caiban and Liam, for after years of hard work and dedication finally resulting in the much sought after rank of Black Belt.
Mu Yeh Taekwondo is a traditionally based family orientated club, teaching Taekwondo, the Korean art of self defence.
The words Mu Yeh come from a traditional Taekwondo ideal meaning the art that arises from the union of the mind and the soul that is reflected in the action.
Mu Yeh Taekwondo is one of the few places where whole families can learn, develop and train together.
It specialises in street-wise, women’s and children’s self defence.
