Storms that threatened earlier in the afternoon blew over, leaving the trails near Rydal in perfect racing condition.
Results
As usual Garry Dukes jumped off the start and lead all riders into the single track.
Despite the 2 week break from racing the trails were offering plenty of grip.
Glen Porter kept the pressure on but Dukes managed to extend his lead, finishing four minutes clear of Porter in second place with both riders going a lap up on the rest of the field.
Dillan Dukes rounded out the top three, rocking into 3rd.
Women
Finishing 13th overall in her first race on the Rydal trail Daneille Patterson took 1st in the female division just in front of Madhu Tamilarasan and Lesley Collier.
Juniors
In the juniors Luke Abbott stomped out the win with Cooper Giles in 2nd and Connor Byrn just pipping his sister Ashey to take 3rd.
It was great to see plenty of new riders there this week as both the female and junior divisions continue to grow.
