The action will kick off from 4pm and is hosted by the Portland District Motor Sports Club.
A new racing surface has been laid down with thanks to Tony Scott, Chris Brackenrig, Kevin and Andrew Blackley which is sure to produce some top class racing.
Topping the program is the thrilling two driver, two by twenty lap races in the one six cylinder powered car with a great line up of cars fighting their way to the finish line over two heart stopping feature races and one pit stop.
The action packed speedway program features five tin top sedan classes and one fabulous open wheeler class, the close racing Quarter Midgets.
Get your backside trackside for almost six hours of speedway excitement with over fifty events for the tin top stock cars and the very fast open wheelers.
The stock car stars will be contesting another round of their Portland club championship over three heats and a feature race - the RSA Street Stockers, Series Production, Four Cylinders, Second Drivers plus the new “all stars (14-16 years) and new stars (10-13 years)” Junior class all racing for their yearly pointscore.
Just last Saturday evening the talented Junior drivers ran riot at Gilgandra Speedway with eleven year old Jaiden Healey posting narrow victories over Jackson Goldie in the new star class while Sarah Bradley of Blayney battled it out with Bek Giffen of Orange in the all star class.
Driving stars from Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Mudgee, Bathurst, Orange, Canberra, Blayney, Oberon, Dubbo, Gilgandra and Nowra will battle it out wheel to wheel on the oval track and you won't miss one second of the action – come on out and cheer your favorite driver to the chequered flag.
