Westfund handed over their local Christmas Appeal donations to Christmas and Beyond and Can Assist Lithgow.
Both charities were given $3000, passing on the recent Christmas Appeal donation that Westfund Health Insurance received from the generous Lithgow Workmens Club.
Staff at the new King Building also got in on the initiative, raising $600 by dressing up in a Christmas theme and handing over gold coin donations.
The $600 was subsequently donated to Can Assist.
A further sum of approximately $400 was donated by staff Executive Team members and this was given to Christmas and Beyond.
Representatives from both Christmas and Beyond and Can Assist Lithgow were highly appreciative of the timely donations, which will go directly towards helping local people in need.
