The sixty-year reunion dinner of the Lithgow High School leaving certificate class of 1956 was held at the Crib Room restuarant at Wallerawang.

The restuarant was decorated in the high school’s colours with photos from their time at school and previous reunion photos on display.
Lorraine Morris welcomed ex students, wives, husbands and friends.
She said it was good to see those who were unable to attend the last reunion.
Those attending were Kay Young (Ford), Lorraine Austen (Rodham) , Robyn Hollis (Larcombe), Noelene Gibbons (Clarke), Lorraine Morris (Hampton), Ian Chapman, Robert Harvey, Eric Nyholm, Robert Petersen and Dennis Ryan.
Apologies were received from Daphne Clifton who lives in Canada, Wendy Hurley, Ann-Marie Osborne, Carmen Ryan, Joy Chapman, Neil atkins, Ross Carswell, John ericksson, Peter Dale and George Peacock.
The group was saddened to hear of the passing of Elaine Deveney and don Punch since the last reunion.
A delicious three course meal was enjoyed amid much reminiscing.
During the evening each student gave a short resume of their life over the last ten years since the previous reunion.
Most are enjoying retirement, travelling, doing volunteer work, playing sport- mainly golf and spending time with their families enjoying their grandchildren.
